This brand-new student council will be chaired by Franz Meiß (Frankfurt UAS), with Susana Campos (Politécnico de Lisboa) as vice-chair. Martin Václavík (Technical University of Ostrava) and Singh Sukh (HOGENT University of Applied Sciences and Arts) will represent the interests of the U!REKA Student Council in the Steering Committee. Henri Van De Coevering (Metropolia University of Applied Sciences) and Luka Dukanovic (University of Applied Sciences Amsterdam) complete the student council as full members.
During U!REKA Connects, students actively engaged in various workshops on communication, engagement strategies, and several educational topics. Over the next few years, the U!REKA Student Council will promote active student participation in all of the alliance's activities, debate different ideas and perspectives, and help make a profound shift towards more climate-neutral and smart European cities.
