U!REKA Network Café: New European Bauhaus

9 May 2022 15:34 | Communication

The New European Bauhaus initiative connects the European Green Deal to our communities’ living spaces and experiences, aiming to promote places that are enriching, sustainable and inclusive through creative and interdisciplinary projects bridging science and technology, art and culture.

The U!REKA Research Support Working (RSWG) group regularly organises events to bring researchers from all member institutions together to learn more about their work, approach and inspiration. With HOGENT, Metropolia and AUAS already having become official members of the New European Bauhaus, the RSWG decided to focus its most recent Café, on 14 March 2022, on this theme.

The members shared information about ongoing Bauhaus activities at HOGENT, Metropolia, AUAS, and Politecnico de Lisboa (which is an Associate Member) on future plans and opportunities for collaboration, including upcoming projects and conferences, and future funding opportunities relevant to New European Bauhaus, under Horizon Europe and Creative Europe, including the call for Places of Education and Knowledge and the Creative Europe Cross Sector Innovation Lab.

Around 20 staff participated in the event and shared contact details to hold further discussions.
